Later, the store became the "One stop shop for all your home decorating needs", with the exception of wallpaper and paint, which were deleted in the late '70s. Lorraine and the sales staff helped customers with decorating selections, custom window treatments, blinds, shades, shutters, bedspreads, slipcovers, and re-upholstery of furniture. Everything was coordinated in one store, and it is still that way today. Jn 2016, we enjoyed another addition of 1,184 sf for office and training space, leaving more space in the showroom for product display and customers.
We are a company that is quality driven, customer service oriented, dedicated to providing our customers with the best values possible and the very best in craftsmanship. Education and training take priority at Early's. Our employees are constantly updating their training and skills in all fields, which includes traveling to the manufacturers and getting both first-hand and hands-on information. Also, we are a Centurion dealer for Hunter Douglas window treatments.
Early's has been a family operated business for over 52 years. With the loss of John Early in November of 2014, there are 5 family members assisting Lorraine with carrying forward the legacy they established. Her daughter, Sonja Betts is the shop manager, decorator, window treatment specialist and first V.P. of the company. Her son-in-law, Solon Betts is a ceramic craftsman and heads up all the installation crews and is the second V.P. of the company. Victoria ''Tori" Braley, sister-in-law to Sonja heads up the water restoration department and works directly with your insurance company to put your home back together responsibly and quickly. Lorraine's grandson, Ted Robson, Jr. is the lead technician of the cleaning and restoration crews; while grandson Dustin Betts is earning his apprenticeship in sales and estimating.
